Zekiah Maion
The queen sat perfectly upright in her throne, twiddling her thumbs back and forth. She had things to do, most certainly. She was queen, after all, which meant she had very... queenly things to do, but not a single one seemed to come to mind. In fact, the day so far had persisted on being rather dull. Something interesting had to happen. She squinted her crimson eyes at the air before her as she suddenly transformed into a white cat and pace about the seat of her chair for a minute before settling down to lay, tail swishing back and forth lazily as she tried to think of some sort of entertainment.
There was some need within her, but she couldn't place entirely what it was. What had she done today? Her mind drifted as she tried to remember, but everything seemed a complete and total haze. Something needed to liven up in this place, and Zekiah couldn't seem to muster up a single thought that pleased her. She'd eaten only a half an hour ago; she didn't want to do that again. She'd gone to town, but nothing interesting was going on. There hadn't been a single person brought before her to be judged, and she even managed to take a nap in the garden. How absolutely, dreadfully boring the day was becoming! She simply had to do something to liven things up.
Shifting again as she jumped off the chair, she returned to her long-haired self, though a lock that ought not to fell in her face and she genuinely looked upset. Zekiah was somewhat anal about her hair. It always had to be perfectly straight, and as such she pulled a small pocket mirror from her sleeve to pat it down perfect once again before a sudden peak of excitement and pride overwhelmed her.
Zekiah always felt her emotions before she had a reason to, and she fanned herself slightly as a wide smile came over her face even as her eyes narrowed at a hair that was out of place on her head. She attempted being upset at the way her hair was disobeying her, that one naughty strand, and yet she couldn't help but remain beaming, the kind of beaming she only did when her pride and joy to the world was around her. Perhaps Kuro was coming to see his dear mother and bring her a surprise! She did so very much adore his surprises, after all, especially when they involved some sort of interesting game.
She tucked away the mirror and clasped her hands together as she began to walk down the carpet towards the doors and back toward her chair, walking perfectly down the middle of the line. Yes, yes, something was going to make her happy. How boring that she had to wait!
