Christine Daae has been at the Opera Populair ever since her father died when she was just a child. On his death bed, her father had promised to send her an angel. An Angel of Music. Christine lived on peacefully at the Opera House, though she could never fully get over the loss of her late father. Years later, the owner of the Opera Populair, Monsieur Lefevre, is retiring. The new owners, Monsier Andre and Monsier Firmin, were two very succesful men in the junk business, or as Mosnieur Andre likes to say, scrap metal. They are soon visited by The Phantom of the Opera, the mysterious man "haunting" the Opera House.
Once The Phantom hears Christine sing at the Gala, he stops at nothing to get her into his possesion and to help her career take off. But the Phantom isn't the only one interested in Miss Daae. Raoul de Chagny, the new Patron of the Opera Populair, is an old childhood friend of Christine. They were childhood sweet hearts and now are once more reunited. Will Christine betray the man who inspires her voice? Will she leave the day for eternal night? Or perhaps she won't even have to choose, perhaps the Phantom will find another interest. Perhaps even Raoul will. For now it's Christine's choice.
