Personality: Riza is a strong woman. She depends on no one but herself, finding herself to be more capable and stronger then some of the boys in the military who used alchemy, when she only used firearms. She is set on thinking she doesn't need a man to take care of her, and really, she doesn't. She's defiantly not one to be a damsel in distress, so don't ever expect her to be one. Fully headstrong and smart, she knows what needs to be done, and she will do what she has to do right then and now, she won't falter and she won't waver.
Riza is pretty even tempered. She goes not loose her cool easily, usually acting as a voice of reason for other people. She only looses her cool when someone hurts Roy Mustang, or someone else close to her heart. She is tough, not much can really hurt her. Sticks and stones my break her bones [though she may act as though it doesn't bother her], but words defiantly do not hurt her. Say what you want to hurt her, she'll probably laugh at your attempts. Although from what you heard she may seem to come of cold-hearted, but really she is very sweet and understanding. She is not one to judge easily.
She is also pretty selfless. She has no regard for what happens to her if it means she's done her job, protecting and serving, that's what she does best, as well a shooting firearms. She regards other people before she really regards herself, and this also goes for her dog, Black Hayate, who she adores, though would never really admit it to anyone, and she would never admit to anyone in the dark version of wonderland that misses her puppy as much as she misses Roy ... though it's usually kind of obvious.
History: Riza Hawkeye is Colonel Roy Mustang's most trusted subordinate. She carries out many of the tasks he is too lazy to do, acts as his personal assistant, and protects him from danger. She also doubles as his voice of reason, keeping cool in heated situations and scolding him when he allows his emotions to get in the way. Riza and Roy seem to share a close relationship. Riza specializes in firearms, particularly sniper rifles, and can hit nearly any target with lethal accuracy. She adopts a dog, called Black Hayate, which she raises with stern discipline; when Hayate goes to the bathroom inside, she shoots at the wall behind him to reinforce that doing so is bad.
When Mustang begins to learn too much about the Homunculi, Riza is reassigned as King Bradley's assistant, a hostage to be used if Mustang steps out of line. Though she no longer works under Mustang, she still keeps an eye out for ways to make his plans of becoming Fuhrer come true; she discovers that King Bradley's son, Selim Bradley, is a homunculus, and sends her discovery to Mustang by way of a coded conversation.
After Mustang's fight against the Fuhrer [which he won] and after his recovery of his wounds, Riza was out to protect him more then ever. She secretly still blamed herself for not being there to help him when he was fighting King Bradly in his mansion. She followed Mustang everywhere and anywhere, even if he did not command her to. She was like a puppy following it's master, she only lived to continue to protect Roy, it was the only thing she knew how to do best ... other then using firearms.
One time she was following Roy was when he was on a trip back to Eastern Headquarters. When the arrived at headquarters, they went to find the room they were staying in. Maybe it was fate that brought them to that room, but in the that room were two beds and a dresser, simple enough. But on the far bottom right corner of the room was a long standing mirror. Thinking nothing of it, Riza groaned while Roy checked himself out like a woman would. Riza patiently waited for Roy to be finished as he suddenly freaked out, saying he swore he say some wired thing in the mirror. Riza rolled her eyes and told him to go get a drink of water.
When Roy exited the room, Riza had examined the mirror more thoroughly. She saw nothing particularly odd about it, it was a mirror, she could see herself and what was behind her. Not a big deal. However, she started to become concerned when she saw what seemed to be a black portal in the mirror ... if you can even describe what a portal really looks like. It looked a lot like a black spot that just shouldn't be there. She couldn't touch it when she put her hand on the mirror, but ... then again maybe it was her imagination. But it wasn't so when her reflection suddenly smiled evilly at her, and pulled her in. She tried screaming for Roy, but if he ever got there, she was already gone.
The next thing Riza could see was she was somewhere that was not Eastern Headquarters. She kept herself calm, there had to be a way back to headquarters, a way back to her job of protecting Roy. She repeated this to herself in her head as she started to wander around wherever she was. She had no concept of direction in the place, nothing seemed real, nothing seemed like it could even be a part of reality, but here she was, trying to get back home, she had her gun and it was still fully loaded ... not that it would matter if she didn't, as she always carried two or three extra clips with her, so she was on guard.
But the more she realized there seemed to be no way out, the more panicked she seemed to become. The more she thought about not being able to protect Roy if he was in danger, the more she felt sick to her stomach. After a few hours of running around, looking everywhere she could for a way home, she realized it was no use. She couldn't find a away back to her home, and back to Roy's side. She felt like she could vomit. This wasn't the way it was supposed to be, it just wasn't. But this was the way it was, like it or not. She had to accept she could no longer protect Roy, she couldn't see military action, and she wouldn't see the Elric brothers ever again.
She came to accept this faster then most people would think. She knew there was no use bawling over it, this place was unreal, she knew she needed to use her time to adapt and learn how to survive this sick and crazy world. Now she has all the time to adapt and survive, but where will her time of learning lead her? Well, that's for us to decide.

Sample RP: {As Noah from FMA on my forum Alchemist's Folktale}
Noah kept walking, listening to the speculation that people were talking about. Of course, alchemists. Alchemists, alchemists, alchemists, that's all the public was speaking of. The looming war in Germany seemed to be placed on the back burner as these new and mysterious people were sprouting up everywhere. Noah herself never quite understood the whole thing of alchemy, Edward had tried explaining it to her once or twice, but she never fully understood it. Maybe that was a thing for people of other worlds to understand. She sighed as when she walked people would stop talking to glare at her. She knew what they were thinking...hid your wallet, the gypsy might steal it.
But what was more odd was there was a wired looking person leaning against an object close to her. Her brown eyes kept hold on him, he looked very odd indeed. What an unusual hair color, was it green? Who in the world would be born with green hair? Unless... he'd come from Shamballa. Her eyes went wide with this realization, and she felt the temptation to ask him about Shamballa rising in her stomach. She wanted, no, she needed to know about Shamballa. But Edward had also advised her from not talking to other people from their world, he said some could not be trusted and were probably out to change us by any means possible. So she swallowed back her temptation and tore her eyes from Envy. She covered her face with her red scarf.
She then kept on walking forward, trying to ignore the fact she probably saw someone from Shamballa, and she refused the chance to ask him what it was like, was it more beautiful and less hateful then here? But she knew that entrance in to Shamballa now was impossible, so maybe it was best not to ask questions. She stopped at stand to get water. The man at the stand glared at her in a most vicious way. However, she was used to this so she stood there like a person normally would, and waited for the man to come back with a cantine to let her drink out of. When the man came back with it, and she placed the money on the table, the man seemed to loose a fuse, and screamed at her.
"What, did you steal that money from an innocent man's wallet?! Get out of here you filth! We don't need money from a thieving gypsy!"
She was taken a back, but scampered off a bit back to where Envy was before. She felt the anger boiling inside her, but she refused to speak about it. She huffed silently, there was no use in yelling about it, nothing would get solved anyway... that's how the government and the public were towards gypsies, people not of the Arian race, and one gypsy alone standing up to a crowd could be punishable by anything, even death. So she stood there, silent as the midnight wind. She really should head back to Edward now, she knew it was a bad idea to come here, she knew it. But she held no anger towards Edward, just the horrible prejudice and injustice other people showed towards her.
